How we can assist you with your AC21 issues

Return to AC21 Issues Main Page

We provide our clients with immediate and comprehensive answers to their AC21 issues. We work proactively with them to prevent problems from developing as a result of them exercising their options under this legislation. We encourage out clients to contact us whenever they  have questions or need advice.

For those who have already filed for adjustment of status and now wish to change attorneys and have us represent them, we offer a special flat rate package. We charge a flat fee of $700 for an entire family for doing this. The monitoring service that we offer includes filing a notice of appearance as attorney of record with the Citizenship and Immigration Services Bureau (CIS) and then monitoring the progress of your case with that agency. If they have questions about your case, we will assist in preparing a response and we will submit it for you. If they are delinquent in processing your case and it has fallen behind the processing times for similar cases, we will make vigorous inquiries on your behalf and continue doing this until they adjudicate it. This service does not, however, include supplemental filings such as applications for advance parole or employment authorization (or extensions of existing documents) or any RFE responses for I-140 petitions. If you wish us to handle those matters, we charge a separate fee for those services.

This service specifically includes dealing with the CIS with respect to all issues involving your I-485 application. If, for example, the CIS attempts to deny your I-485 that has been on file for 180 days or more because your former employer tried to withdraw the I-140 they filed, we will step in and deal with them. In most cases, this can be resolved with a simple fee-waiver motion to reconsider. We do not charge any additional fees for doing this.

We charge on a flat fee basis. This means that we will quote you one fee for all work done by our office on a specific matter. If the case becomes more complex, you will not incur additional charges. Included in the flat fee are unlimited telephone calls to our office and unlimited e-mails. We encourage you to call or write to us when you have a question or concern. We believe that it is essential to remain in regular contact with our clients in order to deal with their concerns and anxieties.

Our flat fee arrangement does not include outside costs that are unique to each case, such as government filing fees, delivery service (FedEx, UPS, etc) costs, and such things as PERM recruiting costs and credentials evaluation service costs. Those types of fees, if applicable to your case, are billed separately from our flat fee for attorney’s services.
